musescore 3 doesnt recognise my midi device

I use a Kawai MP9500 which has MIDI connection that works just fine with ableton live 10, analog lab, other midi software. But musescore doesn't pick up the midi signal, and I am a bit confused because it seems musescore 3 doesnt even have a midi section in its settings menu. It would be great to be able to manually choose which midi signal I want to use for musescore (when multiple devices are connected). If I'm too dumb to find the midi section I'd much appreciate a hint pertaining to its location, otherwise I'd be very grateful for such a feature being added.
