Arpeggio length should only cover applicable notes
See the attached score, in which there is a tied note.
Expected result: The arpeggio should only cover the notes it applies to (not notes featuring a tie before it).
Actual result: After the first note, the arpeggio goes over the tied E.
Using MuseScore 1.0 - Mac 10.4.11. Also MuseScore 2.0 nightly build (4257) - Windows XP SP3.

With regards to an arpeggio covering notes featuring a tie before it:
Using the example, the arpeggio can go over the tie, if there's a note below it (such as middle C).
This could be a potentially tricky issue, as far as music theory goes and how it could be played. I have seen instances where the tied note would be played again on the reoccurence of the arpeggio.
Now, I may be wrong, but it almost seems to me that this is what you were trying to create.
Can someone comment on whether this is a valid report?
I would have thought that this would be a more correct way of notating this.
Besides being clearer it looks far more elegant.
My example was really for testing purposes - I know there's other ways to do it.
However, I think we'll close this?
Marking as closed seeing Chen didn't do so.
