It would be great to have the chance of export as PNG, JPG or TIFF not a full page but an excerpt of a document in order to input to a Word or LibreOffice file.

If you're on a Windows box, you can open the full page in Paint, outline what you do want to include, crop it, and save just that portion of the full page.

Thanks, that is the way I used to do to get that,. But I think it would be great for outcoming versions to do this direct in MuseScore, like you can do in Finale and Sibelius. If you were writing a text with a lot of musical examples, you save more time.

It will be possible in future version to take a screenshot of part of the score and save it as PNG. In the meantime, I wrote a plugin to do the cropping for you. It's convenient for short extracts. See : http://musescore.org/en/project/snippetcreator
