Removing time signature
I'm trying to create a sheet of commonly used notes, which I include. As you can see, the time signature is unnecessary, and I'd like to completely remove it, so both lines are spaced equally, while when hiding a time signature, it still takes its space, making note spacing on thi first line a bit narrower than on the second one. Can I fix it somehow?

Clic Canc? By Inspector make the barlines invisible.
or, delete the time signature then Edit/Bar -> Join Selected Bars

Thanks, problem solved. I had already joined measures, but I didn't try to delete a time signature :)
Other way: delete time signature, select the measures of the the treble clef, choose in menu edit->measure->join selected measures. The same for bass clef. See example.
(Btw: I would use in your example "piano" from the instrument list)
Steps to follow:
1. Go to view > Inspector;
2. Highlight the time signatures you want to make invisible;
3. Deselect "visible".
To reduce the gap that will have been left by the invisible time signature:
1. Select all the notes in a measure by highlighting using CTRL + CLICK on the notes;
2. Go to inspector and on the chord section, adjust horizontal offset to negative value. This will move the notes to reduce the gap.
Hope you will find this helpful.

This worked!! Thank you.
Much easier & more effective method - right click the staff, Staff Properties, uncheck "Show time signatures". You can also play with the setting for space after various elements in Style / General / Measure.
