Versioning
Is versioning available or to be planned?
Example: any save would make a backup with the old document with the timestamp ending. Or version ending.

I think that's what git would be for :-)
Indeed, that sort of thing is better provided by the OS or something like Dropbox or Google Drive that can provide this service for all applications. No sense in every application reinventing this wheel for itself.
