Playback is silent

Hi,
I'm currently using MuseScore 2.0.3 on windows 10 and my playback is now silent. When I first updated it worked fine but today it isn't for some reason.
I looked at the forum and tried the solutions already offered but reinstalling does nothing and if I check the synthesizer I have the correct soundfont loaded. Any ideas?
