Tie only plays for the duration of the first note sometimes.
The bug only seems to happen when I tie an 8th note next to a dotted quarter-note. More specifically on notes G4 and C5 (on piano). Just go to the attachment and it'll make more sense.

By the way when you write issues what does the Component drop-down menu mean?

And FWIW, "component" is normally code, unless you are submitting a bug report against the web site or the documentation or something other than the progream itself.
