Clipboard is lost after entering a note

MuseScore 2.0.3, Windows 7.
Select some notes
CTRL-X
Enter a note
CTRL-V to paste clipboard contents: nothing happens (thanks to god CTRL-Z works)
If you don't enter a note between the CTRL-X CTRL-V it works.
Is it because my score is "corrupted" or a "feature" of Musescore?
