Undesired instruments played in MIDI
I know this may not be the right place to discuss MIDI files, but I have concerns that need to be addressed some way (i.e. in playback).
I am trying to play certain string quartets via MIDI files, but instead of hearing violins, viola, and cello, I am instead hearing piano. Is it just me and my computer, or is there something wrong with the way the particular MIDI files are set up?
Attached to this post is a sample of what I'm talking about. I would suggest playing the MIDI using whatever media player supports it, and also playing it using MuseScore's playback feature.
If this really isn't appropriate, let me know and I'll try to get my problem resolved at another musical forum.

Just checked the file in Sonar 3.
From the event list I've ascertained that the author didn't assign patches to the channels, so it's defaulting to Patch 0 - Acoustic piano on all channels.
The attached version should sound better :)
