How to remove a note from a tuplet

I just downloaded and started using MuseScore, and its a great program so far and is also really easy to use!

However there is one snag I've found thats halting me in my tracks until I find a way to do it. I am trying to do a melody line in the treble cleff which has a triplet against a non-triplet. I can create the triplet fine but whenever I add new notes to that area they are always part of the triplet. Is there any way to remove a note from a triplet/tuplet?
