Adding linked tablature to existing staff causes crash
I have downloaded Guitar Pro file, and want to edit it for my band. I save it to MuseScore format and when I link staff to existing guitar staff all was well. When I changed staff type from "pitched 5-line" to "tablature", MuseScore crashes. When I try to open this file again, MuseScore crashes.
Tested on Linux (builded by me from svn today, 5265M) and Windows (latest nightly "cymbal" build)
Edited score /Original gp5 file

Is the crash (as you say) caused by changing from 5-line to tablature, rather than what the title says?
crash caused by added linking stuff + changing its type. Adding linking stuff without changing type don't crash MuseScore, changing type of alone staff don't crash MuseScore.
I have imported your .gp5 score into MuseScore: both the guitar and the bass parts already contain a tablature.
Can you detail:
1) To which staff have you added another, linked, staff?
2) Which staff have you changed from pitched to tablature?
Thanks,
M.
when I import gp5 file to MuseScore, bass and guitar just pitched scores without tablature O_o
I'm adding linked staff to guitar staff and changing type from pitched to tablature in that linked staff.
I'm running [trunk] 5470 (2.0b5470M) and seeing this same behavior.
Create new score, single staff (in my case, bass clef), add a few notes, create a tab staff linked to that staff, and the application stops responding.
The error is low-level enough that I need to restart my desktop manager (Ctrl-Alt-Backspace) in order for other audio/video applications to operate.

The linked GP5 is no longer available, so it probably won't be possible to reproduce if there's a specific case. Plus, I believe some behaviour has changed.
I close this. Please post if you can still reproduce.
