Objects extending over multiple notes - what note it ends on
I think this applies to all objects that extend over multiple notes - lines is one of them (possibly the only one?).
Open the attached score.
When this is applied (the crescendo), the line ends in the second bar - something I'm not sure is right.
If the user can decide the note it begins, why can they not decide where it ends (if I want it somewhere else)?

Unless I'm missing something about what you are describing, all similar objects have their end points modified the same way: while in edit mode with the right-most control point selected, hit shift-arrow (left or right). That changes the actual point of attachment. Arrow by itself then nudges it relative to the attachment point.
