Aligning hyphens within lyric words
Hello and Happy New Year!
On the attached score I have put red arrows to illustrate my inability to align the hyphens with the lyric words. I did lower the placement of the lyrics when they were colliding with the lower notes on the melody line but the hyphens did not also lower.
Can someone suggest how I might get the hyphens to align with the placement of the lyrics? I tried using the Inspector for this but did not see a way to ask it to align them for me.
Thank you.

I don't know why but i Found this
This happens if you mess with the lyric text style settings in a way that confuses MuseScore. You have changed the vertical alignment from the default of "baseline" to "top". That doesn't work, as you can see. Change it back, and if the goal was to get the lyrics lower, do it using the vertical offset instead (or the settings in Style / General / Page).
