The Travelers' Song, 1st movement almost done!
I have ideas of characters and how their stories continue in the other 3 movements. Any commentary?

Oh, that was great. Your style like trailer music.
Do you think sometimes about writting trailer music like Two Steps From Hell?

do you mean movie music? I'm not familiar with Two Steps From Hell. But yes, I do love to write movie scores

I can see that you are referencing another piece of mine, but what exactly are you trying to say? haha

Only that two important people in my life (and my cat, on Good Friday of all days) died very recently.
And that I listened again to "To Mend a Broken Heart," and for a moment the song lifted me from feeling bad and sad to hopeful. I appreciated it, thought I'd tell you.
Be well.

I see. I'm glad it was helpful to you, especially considering the piece was written under similar circumstances. My condolences for your loss.

shows a hard rock song that the lower instruments of this piece reminded me of.
i'm not at all saying your work isn't original. i believe it is.
take it or leave it. just wanted to give you my impression. i'll try to write more later.

I don't particularly hear that at all. Is there a specific section you were thinking of? I'm curious

The first nine bars put me in mind of "Summerthrow." It's maybe not so much the melody or chord progression as the tone of the instruments. Those low brass remind me of the sound of the guitar in "Summerthrow."
I enjoyed listening to the unfinished lst movement of your composition.
Would you please tell me how you got the percussion to sound. I cannot get anything near a timpani sound and the snare drums don't make any sound on my music. I have downloaded Version 1.2 and the Tim............. synthesizer.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the regular soundfont library that comes standard with the free download of MuseScore. Maybe check the mixes on your pieces?
