Maximize and

Dear Sir,

I just loaded your software and have a problem with “Maximize and Restore down” buttons.
I cannot make smaller screen for to see 2 screens in the same time MuseScore and one that open from another source (not MuseScore).
Also,I have a question concerning another issue.
Time signature is 4/4.The first Measure has for example only 2 notes and I delete rest (do not need a pause).
When I click on Play it is goes through deleted rest which makes no sound (interrupts melody) after to next measure.Is it possible in MuseScore to jump to another measure without go thought the rest and make interruption of melody.
Please advise.
