Articulations/Dynamics/Text/Lines
I have some ideas concerning articulations/text/dynamics
1. The user can create their own articulations and dynamics
I know Finale uses this, back when I used a free trial of it. It made things a lot easier. Being a drummer, it's a total pain in the butt to have to type in a "Z", change the size, and then move it to the stem every time I want to add a buzz roll.
2. Dynamics/Text/Lines would copy with the copied (part of a) measure
It is a total pain in the butt. I usually create two scores, one for the recording and one for the printable score, and when I copy one over to the other, I have to meticulously go through the other score to find all the dynamics, lines and text that didn't copy. Plus as I mentioned before, the buzzes are a pain in the butt...
Hope this is taken into consideration,

1- MuseScore 2.0 will let you create your own palette. You will be able to drag and drop a text from the score to the palette and reused it. See http://musescore.org/en/node/14974
2- Agree. There are several requests for improving copy paste, including being able to select what is copied or pasted.

I'm still confused on how to put a text into the pallette. I've tried dragging the "Z" and adding it to the pallette, but it won't let me. I use 1.2.

Its 2.0 that will allow this, not 1.2.
2.0 is still months away, but you can visit the Development link in the menu on the right side of this page and get to where you can download one of the nightly builds to play with. Just realize these are experimental, not meant for serious use.
