Slash Style

I don't understand why we have to go to 2 places before this is invoked:
Measure Properties - select slash style
Noteheads - Select notehead type.

It seems to me that the selection of slash style should automatically select the slash style, and, if you think other styles moight be used, have them as an option..

I' really enjoying this program and am facinated by how it is constantly getting better - 3 steps forward 1 back.
