Missing beats in measure

I have composed a 6/8 measure but it is only allowing me 4 eigth notes in, I am missing 2 eighth notes in the measure and it only happens in the 1st part, not in 2nd 3rd, or 4th. It is very troublesome.

I use version 1.2 for windows 7

After checking the properties of this measure, you can attach the indicted piece?
Sometimes closing and reopening solves the problem.

actually by fooling around with it, I Deleted everything in the measure, and tried adding the appropriate amount of rests and it seemed to fix itself.
