Using the Apple-Mac Finder, clicking on a .mscz file opens Musescore but the file must be selected again
Clicking on a .mscz file should both start Musescore AND open that file. Unfortunately, this doesn't work. Musescore DOES open but I must reselect the file in order to open it. Seems incorrect. Thank you!

Are you using MuseScore 1.3 or 1.2 ?
Do you see the same behavior with any file? or just one special file? What's the filename?
I have the same problem using Musescore 1.3 and Mountain Lion. Double clicking the file and clicking Open or Open With opens Musescore but not the file. Same result with any .mscz file. Once Musescore is open, however, I can open any .mscz file by clicking on it in Finder.

is it the case with any file? or are the filename special in some way? (space, special characters etc...)

Using the Apple-Mac Finder, clicking on ANY .mscz file opens Musescore but does nothing else. If I still want the file I have clicked on, I must select Files and Open and click on the file again.

mmm I can't reproduce on Lion. @JimJPiano, are you using Lion or Mountain Lion?

It's the same with any file, with or without spaces or special characters. Also applies to .mscx files. Not a killer of a problem, but I agree it shouldn't work this way.
