Dynamics added by double click are horizontally centred, ignoring the style mirabilos • May 31, 2017 - 18:21 Reported version 2.1 Type Functional Severity 3 Status active Project MuseScore When the user style (.mss file) for dynamics text has them left-aligned, they are still created centred (and each dynamic has a center in them in the .mscx file). Marking them all and clicking “reset to style” in the inspector, however, resets that. Reply Comments Marc Sabatella • Jun 1, 2017 - 19:34 Severity ⇒ Not just dynamics. But what I reported here is that, once the style is loaded, *new* dynamics ignore the halign of the already-loaded style. Reply Marc Sabatella • Jun 2, 2017 - 17:33 Title Dynamics are created horizontally centred, ignoring the style ⇒ Dynamics added by double click are horizontally centred, ignoring the style Severity ⇒ Ah, I see. Has nothing to do with mss files, actually - you get the same result just changing the style manually: 1) new score 2) style / text / dynamics, change alignment to left 3) add a note to the score 4) add dynamic to that note by double click Drag and drop works as expected. So the issue is actually more related to #85401: Ottava in custom palette loses customized text in Line Properties when double-clicked onto score, perhaps others. The issue in this case being, we are honoring the specific style of the dynamics on the palette rather than correctly applying the text style, only when using double click rather than drag & drop.
