MuseScore default saving location is still confusing under Windows Vista
I am a new user, just some hours old... I have just installed MuseScore 0.9.5 RC on Windows Vista (the OS is in Spanish). When I saved a file I had exactly the same problem described here:
http://www.musescore.org/en/node/1567
"... the default location is C:\Program Files\MuseScore 0.9\
As this is not allowed under Vista's new security policies, the files are actually stored in
C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\MuseScore 0.9
This causes real confusion for normal users."
I would thank you very much if this could be solved.

I know it may be an annoying question, but I cannot find the way to change the default saving location.
I have already created a C:\musscore folder to prevent language version confusions (yes, it is weird, my computing skills are average) and changed the "working directory" to it on "edit - preferences - general". This had effect in the "open" feature but not in the "save". Am I too stupid (many people think so, especially other teachers, my pupils and their parents) or is this a bug?
God bless you.

The Save As dialog will show the last folder you saved to. If you restart MuseScore it should default to your "My Documents" folder. At least that is how it behaves for me.
The fact that it defaults to the "My Documents" folder instead of the working directory is a known bug. See http://www.musescore.org/en/node/1998
