Need help transposing between instruments in musescore!
I took a piece written for keyboard synthesizer, and I wanted to play it on my trumpet. I had done a bunch of browsing and playing with the musescore mobile app, but this was my first experience with the musescore software. I downloaded the appimage for my Linux pc and Googled how to transpose and change the instrument. When I did this, all of the notes turned red. Apparently red notes refer to notes outside the instruments normal range. My notes were definitely in the trumpets range. I am a second year school band player in grade 7, so I an definitely not musically talented. All I wanted to do was play some metroid on my trumpet!

the original is here , and my version has replaced a synth with the trumpet. It is attached. whether i have "concert pitch" (which I still don't understand) on or off, the notes are still red.
Thanks!

Notice the "15" above the clef! It means that the notes are to be played two octaves higher than if the clef did not have the "15". And that is for sure outside the trumpet range. What you need to do is to replace the clef with the standard clef without the "15" and transpose the music down two octaves.
