Spacing issue
1) The first picture: How do you make the whole notes in the center? I've made the time signature (4/4) invisible and made the whole rests invisible. I'm trying to create a theory worksheet for my students.
2) The second picture: How do you make the measure horizontally smaller? I've tried spacing, but it seems to not work.

1) The only way to center the notes is to move them in the inspector. If every measure is the same size you can select all of the whole notes and move them the same amount. If the lines have different sized measures, move the notes on one line at a time.
2) Remove the line breaks and reenter them one at a time until the length of the measure is satisfactory.
