'No text' probelm in Chinese Traditional Windows XP and Vista
I Can't see/edit any text object in 'all' prerelease versions of MuseScore 0.9.5.
There is no such problem in MuseScore 0.9.4(stable).
Tested OS (32bit, Taiwan version): XP Pro SP3 (x2), Vista Home Premium SP1 (x1)

This problem has been reported for other languages as well. Will be investigated before the release of 0.9.5.

No. It's a totally new problem. Not related to the strings not translated in some languages.
What happens if reset all preferences to "factory condition"? Warning the following steps remove all changes you have made to the preferences, palettes, or window positions.

I typed 'mscore -F' in the Run window and got the following message:
"Windows cannot find 'mscore'. Make sure you enter the correct name, and try again."
The problem persists after I entered 'mscore -F' (C:\Program Files\MuseScore 0.9\bin>mscore -F) in a command prompt window.

Try C:\Program Files\MuseScore 0.9\bin\mscore.exe -F
In reply to Try by Thomas
The result of C:\Program Files\MuseScore 0.9\bin\mscore.exe -F is the same as that of C:\Program Files\MuseScore 0.9\bin\mscore.exe. MuseScore runs in "factory condition" but the problem persists (still no correct text objects).
First, empty drum pallet is normal.
Second, you may try to change the lyrics font in style -> edit text style-> Lyrics. If it works, can you check you have the Time New Roman font on your OS ?
