Pedal copy & paste (or copy/paste settings)
Hi everyone,
I can't figure out how to copy and paste pedal notation into multiple bars. Searching on the web it seems that this function is not implemented yet in Musescore (I use 2.1.0).
I suggest to follow the "Lightroom" method to enable "copy/paste settings" referred to the bar:
1. Click on the bar that I want to copy
2. Press on keyboard CTRL + SHIFT + C to open "Copy settings" panel
3. On the window that just appeared I select "pedal line" and eventually other settings
4. I click on the bar when I want to paste the pedal setting
5. Press CTRL + SHIFT + V to past all the settings from the first bar to the bar I selected (in this case, just the pedal line)
I know that Pedal line, and other markings, are strictly related to specific notes inside bars, so copy and paste can be difficult. But if you implement this kind of "copy/paste settings" you can copy and past entire bars, but including or excluding elements of it (for example, in this case it would be the same of copying and pasting the entire bar, then deleting all the notes to keep active just pedal).
Is it something that can be implemented?
Thank you and let me say that this program is absolutely awesome... Good job guys.

Actually there is a way to copy pedal lines and other elements that can be copied normally, although it isn't well known or documented.
Click the line (or other elements), then Ctrl+Shift+Drag to a new location. This does a "clone" of the element, and is normally how one would create custom palette entries, but it works for copying within a score as well.
Also, not sure if you are aware of this or not, but lines *do* copy if you copy the entire range (eg, a containing them. So a pedal line within a measure copies if you copy the measure. And we already have a Selection Filter (via View menu) that does more less the same thing you are describing, except it doesn't work to exclude notes from a selection. So it would be be a way to exclude lines, which is the opposite of what you want. But you could do the copy normally, then use the filter to exclude the pedal line from the selection, then hit Delete, which leaves you with just the lines. So same result achieved another way.
