Horizontal page view
Hi,
I whould like to see someting like a horizontal editing mode, like in audio editing software. It's easyer for me when composing the score. It annoys me when I listen and folow the score and suddenly it jumps to a new row and the page moves up. Also when composing I'm not interested about the details like how many measures I include in a row. I like to do this after I input all the stuff.
One simple solution might be if let's say in Preferences/Scode/Default paper size exists an option like Horizontal mode exists where width is -1.
Also I input alot with the mouse. The mouse input mechanis is well made, but from time to time I mess up, usually inputing the note a little to te left. If it's not to much it whould be great so see something like a ruler above the measure to be sure exactly where the note is located within the measure. This will also be very useful when inputing short notes
With respect and regards,
Florian Chis

I'm not sure if you are using 0.9.4, but I think you will find the mouse input is better designed in 0.9.5 and you will not find it necessary to use a ruler. I also find that enlarging the view helps a great deal with note input via mouse.
0.9.5 is due out in the next few days. The release candidates are already available.

Its not a bad idea, though.
Say if a notice popped up with bar number and position one could use a smaller magnification and input more without having to scroll the window. The notification could actually be a higher magnification look at the bar in question.

Even easier would be to put the mouse location in the status bar (perhaps at the left side to make it distinct from the voice cursor location).
