Break Every "X" Measures... Help
I always seem to have a problem with the "Break Every X Measures" plugin. I'd like it to break every 4 but often times I'll get 1 whole page of just 4 measures or something whacky like that. I know there's a way to correct it but I'm not sure what it is. I've looked at other discussions on this topic but it's difficult sorting through all of the responses. If one person could just give a step by step I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thank you,
Austin

One page with only 4 measures:
I suspect you have a page break that needs removal.
In general I find it best to wait until I've finished most of the work before final tweaking, although generally the first thing I do is set the "4 bars per line" option (excepting the first line where I may need more or fewer bars to set the logic to match the picture).
Adding a break every four 4 bars doesn't guarantee you'll actually have 4 measures per line - just that you won't have *more* than four bars per line. If you want to literally have four bars every line, you may need to make you notation smaller (layout / page settings / space) and/or reduce stretch (select all, layout / add less stretch).
Plus, as mentioned above, you will need to get of any page breaks that were there.
In the score you posted, start by deleting the page break at measures 11 and 31. There are a few systems that cannot fit four measures per page currently, but select all, layout / add less stretch once and everything fits.

Thanks a million for the help guys! It worked perfectly. I totally get it now. It'll be really nice not having to worry about that anymore. I'd been dealing with that problem for the past year and a half! Haha
Many thanks again.
