Importing PDFs: Now What?

So I recently uploaded a PDF onto my account and it successfully uploaded, but now I can't seem to do anything with it. Do I have to wait a little for it or does this mean that the PDF doesn't have a good enough quality to have anything done with it?
Update: Now it has this thing saying "Status: Download" but when I click on that a bunch of gobblygook comes up. Any hints as to what this means...?
