Midi export for Singing Coach

I have the Singing Coach voice training application (Windows only). It would be awesome if I could use it to practice music I sing with my choir, so I could learn to sing more accurately. In theory, I could do that by entering the notation in MuseScore, exporting the Midi, and importing it into SingingCoach. I've tried, but SingingCoach refuses to import the midi. It says the midi file is not quite right.

Singing Coach will only import midi files with the following characteristics:
Standard Midi File format, type 0.
GM authoring.
Melody and lyrics must be on track 4.
Delta time must be in TPQ (not SMPTE)

I'm willing to import the Midi file into a third party midi editor, preferably one that works on a Macintosh, and preferably a free or low-cost midi editor.

I suspect the melody and lyric tracks need to be changed to track 4.

Otherwise, is the midi file exported by MuseScore in the proper format?

Unfortunately, I am a midi editor newbie. I hope someone will be so kind as to recommend a suitable midi editor. In addition, I'll need a little coaching and hand-holding to do the job correctly. In theory, this shouldn't be hard. I'm only entering one melody and one line of lyrics in MuseScore.

have you tried to create a score with four instruments (for example SATB) and export it as Midi?

I could do that. How do I make my part (tenor) come out as track 4 when the midi is exported? If I do SATB, will Bass be track four? I could try SABT...

I suppose I could enter three dummy parts, maybe just one note or something. That would probably create separate tracks.

Derr... Why didn't I think of this before? You suggested the solution and deserve the credit.

I exported an SATB arrangement in .mid format, imported it into Singing Coach. It worked fine. Singing Coach presumed that the Bass part was the melody. It played the other parts, too. So, our work here is done.

Singing Coach wants at least four parts, presumes the fourth part is the melody. I don't know how many parts it can handle, but I presume more than four will work. Among other things, it's probably a generic midi player. It works okay without lyrics.
