Albums - User interface corrupted
I have found the Albums feature very helpful and have used it in the past for creating short complications of tunes for printing. However, I have noticed recently that the user interface is corrupted. The text and buttons towards the bottom of the window are overlapping each other (see attached screenshot) and expanding the window does not sort it out.

Mike,
I'm using MuseScore 2.1.0, Revision 871c8ce
OS is Windows 10, Version 1709

I curious if you updated windows in the last day or two and that's when it started. I had a message to update Window but didn't, so I'm running the slightly older version 1703

I've just started to use MuseScore again after a break of a couple of months so I can't be sure exactly when the problem started to manifest.

Now I'm afraid to let windows update.
@ m_sandford, try https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings

Shoichi,
OK, but it seems rather drastic!
I need to give some thought to recording any specific settings I may have made first.
What it looks like is that you increased the font size for Windows while MuseScore was running. Normally closing MuseScore and restarting it would fix glitches like that if this is the case. Does that help?

I am not conscious of having changed the font size for Windows. In fact, I didn't even know I could to do this. Are you able to tell me where this is set and I will look to see if I have inadvertently made a change.
I have closed and reopened MuseScore multiple times since I first noticed the corruption and it still remains.

Type "display" into the Windows 10 search bar and it will bring you to the appropriate settings page. Although I remember Windows providing way more options than this, so probably there is another page elsewhere. A general web search for more info might help.

Well, the 'Font size' setting was other than its recommended value (250% rather than 200%).
I closed MuseScore, reset the value to 200%, restarted the machine, opened MuseScore and tried Album. The corruption was still present (see attachment). As far as I have noticed, all other control windows and even the rest of the text in the Album window are fine. There's something odd about this specific area of this specific window.

Ah, but it looks different now, right? So we're on the right track. I suspect with it set to 100% things would look good. I guess this is part of how Windows is trying to deal with the issues involved in high resolution displays, but it's something the industry is still trying to come to grips with. Apparently this particular dialog is being affected by that setting in a way others aren't, so it's something that should probably be looked at.

Hi Marc,
Yes, at 100% it sorts itself out (see attached)... but I need a magnifying glass to read the screen! The text is pin sharp on my Surface Pro but ohhh sooo tiny!
When you asking the question, I think you neglected to say that you changed the default font size (system-based)
When you don't give enough information, you cannot get the solution. (At least not immediately.)
