Set stem direction per voice per staff
Hello everyone
I would like voice 1's stem direction to be "up" always, and voice 2's stem direction to be "down" always. However, due to some copy/pasting, not all stems are pointing in the desired direction. I searched the forums and found several solutions but none of them work for me.
In the attachment, in the Alto staff, the first two notes should have down stems. In the TB staff, notes 3 and 4 of voice 1 should have up stems.
I know I can change the direction of each note's stem individually, but is there a way to fix it for an entire staff? I'm aware of "X", but "X" switches the stems (so up becomes down and down becomes up) and it doesn't affect all stems anyway. The "stem direction" setting in Inspector doesn't affect all notes either -- some notes are set to "down" (if you click them you can see) but the stem remains up.
Any ideas?

If you open the inspector and select the section of music with the stems pointed wrong then click notes in the inspector you can press ctrl+r and all of the stems will return to default direction. If both voices exist it will be as you want. If only voice 1 exists the stems will be up if below the middle line an down if above it.
