Cross-staff notation - move only selected notes out of a cluster?

I understand how to do cross-staff notation (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/cross-staff-notation), but I can't figure out how to move only a single note into another staff. When I select one note and do CTRL+UP, it moves the whole "stack" or "cluster" of notes, rather than just a single note.

Is it even possible to do what I'm trying to do?

Attached is an example of what I want to do. In the B/G/E cluster, only the B is moved to the bass.
