Select/Replace feature
How about a select/replace feature? Example: replace all pedal markings of one type with another type; or replace all notes C4 with A3; or replace all FF with FFF, or some such replaceable by staff, voice, selection, etc... just like the select options.
If this already exists, how is it implemented?

Interesting suggestion. Of these, you can certainly already replace notes by pitch (select by pitch, use arrow keys), and to some extent you can mess with line settings as a group in the Inspector (more things will be controllable this way in 3.0). I suppose the text for dynamics could also be given in the Inspector, that would allow you to make that change en masse...
