type a stimme outside of musescore
Hello,
I would like to type the opening and closing stimmes (see the attached picture — I mean the bracket that comes to the left of the D chord and to the right of the Bm chord). I think these symbols are contained in the Bravura font, but I can't find a way to type it.
I'm using MacOS 10.13.4 and I have both Bravura and Bravura Text installed. Can you help me how to locate and type these symbols outside of MuseScore? Thanks.

Open the master palette with Z and search for "stim" you'll see the parts. If they are not the right size then use staff or system text as appropriate, press F2 to open the Special characters window and you will see them under Analytics. These can be resized using the font size unlike those n the master palette.

Thanks, but I think you misunderstood. I know how to type in MuseScore. My question had to do with typing those symbols in Pages, Word, etc. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with Mac, but if you can't use Alt codes then copy and paste them from MuseScore.
