Sound Effects
Hi, gang!!!
I miss some "standard" sound effects into the "standard" MuseScore SoundFont file (thunder, rain, car, cannon, etc).
Can the team add it in the next edition, please???

Some are included in the sound font, if defined for GM compatible sound fonts. You may want to search the web for sondfonts with the sounds you want. I would search, for example, "soundfont car" to look for a car sound font. Perhaps you can find some with most or all of the sounds you are looking for in one sound font.

Hi, Mike!!!
I understand your point.
I'm not look for a car sound. I want real cannon and fireworks sound to the Tchaikovsky's 1812 Oberture.
BTW: Just in case, the seashore sound of the MuseScore sound takes too long to end. How to fix it???

As far as the 1812 Overture is concerned, see https://musescore.org/en/node/269869#comment-823497 and the following discussion. The short version of what you will read is that the sounds should be fixed in version 2.3. For today, my "car" example was only an example that you used. I was suggesting a way to find acceptable sound fonts for now. Replace "car" with any sound you are looking for.
I haven't used the seashore sound, so I couldn't tell you for sure, but you can try putting a staccato dot that you make invisible above the note to shorten it. You may also try to insert a shorter note in another voice and make it invisible and make the too long note not play in the inspector (F8 to toggle the inspector).

You can't fix it, only the web master can, and I don't think it's important enough to bother him with. I guess you realized that there is a sound fonts forum.
