When printing, all fonts in the document immediately become several sizes bigger, causing instrument names to run into the score and title text to run off the page.
At a school where I've installed MuseScore it does the same if it's a non-default network-printer. No DPI changes. ANd it's consequent for me.
Windows XP/MuseScore 0.9.5
To reproduce bug you need two printers installed. The two printers need to have different DPI resolutions set. When you go to print you have to select the non-default printer.
If the non-default printer has a higher DPI resolution then the text appears smaller. If the non-default printer has a lower DPI resolution then the text appears larger.
I think I was still getting this with an older version but don't appear to now (0.9.6.2) if that helps...(not to say the problem doesn't exist anymore, of course).
The whole thing is unreadable in Linux unless I go for 400% enlargement. - That is far too big to keep the overall concept viable. I cannot figure out how to change the font settings.
I do not have this problem on a mac, but i actually want to use Linux. I hve not tried printing out yet as I cannot determine what I have written
Any advice gratefully received.

Windows version 0.9.5
Wolfy, does this happen every time? Did you change any of the DPI settings when you printed? Did you use a printer other than your default?

The next step seems to be uploading a copy of the score so others can check it for problems.
XavierJazz, it doesn't look like this is score related.
mortenpoulsen, My guess is your non-default printer at school has different DPI settings than the default printer. Is this true?
David, that seems to be true, yes! Is fixing this for 0.9.6 possible?
This seems to be fixed in the latest nightly builds (Tested using r.2414 nightly, Windows XP).
Wolfy and mortenpoulsen, could you test and check that it works for you too?
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
Seems to be not completely fixed (see http://musescore.org/node/4534 )

eyresmusic: It would be better to ask for help on the forum . Include information about what version you are using, and screenshots.
I can propose workaround.
You can save document as pdf and then print it.
In the nightly builds, is this still a problem for you?
As there has been no further information, I close this.
