How to "Feature" a solo section?
Hello,
I have a song that is 6 pages long, but has a solo buried in the middle without any real visual cues as to where it begins and ends. You have to closely read the music to find those points. But I want it to visually stand out, to make it easier to find during practice and to tell when it's coming up during performance.
I'm not really even sure what I want it to look like, but somehow I want it to be easy to spot.
Any suggestions??
Thanks!
Dave

Thanks for these!
I have used both ideas, and I think they do the job nicely. And the Musescore online help is fantastic.
I will mention one thing: it's a multi-line, multi-page section I wanted highlighted. I was able to click on the "line" and adjust the entire thickness at once. But when I went to adjust vertical offset, I had to select each staff line one at a time and adjust its VO; I couldn't shift the whole selection down with a single change. I don't know if there was a way to accomplish this, or if this is by design in order to allow each one to be customized.
In any case, thanks!!
Dave

Set the line (color and size), then you can save it to a custom palette (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/palettes-and-workspaces#custom-palett… ) and add it with a double click.
