I need help with connecting my keyboard
I have a YamahaDGX-660 Portable Grand piano. And I bought a cord (less than 3 meters like instructions said for my keyboard) that is type a to type b. I plugged in before turning on keyboard, and it still won't work for putting in notes. Just wondering what I can do to make this work.

Have you start MuseScore after the keyboard is switched on?
Also be sure to follow the instructions in the Handbook for note input. Eg, you still need to enable note input mode, still need to select duration then enter pitches one at a time, etc - unless you wish to experiment with one of the newer real-time modes that are also described in the Handbook.
