Pressing Escape with Special Characters window open closes the window and exits text edit/entry mode.

Found while looking for windows that don't close by pressing Escape (#275479: Master Palette doesn't close on ESC in linux).

Enter or edit any text and press F2 to open special characters.
Press Escape.

Results: Special characters window that opens with F2 closes and text edit mode is deactivated.
Expected Results: Special characters window is closed and you can continue editing your text.
