My Muse score file
My Muse score file has been converted my accident to a MSCZ file and it now cannot be opened. Is there any way I can convert it back to a compressed muse score file so I can open it

Look at it again.
If the filename includes a period before the name and a comma, it is a backup file - most likely the file you were last working on is still on your computer, look again.
If you cannot find it, rename the file you have, remove the dot and the comma.
It will then open in MS.

Many thanks for your kind replies. This was very helpful. By putting the , just before or putting a dot before mscz my file has now changed back to a compressed muse score file. So I can now open it which is a relief. I Did not want to write out all the piano parts again for my clarinet and piano piece. Warmest wishes to you both
