Create "line" that is created by any symbol
Similarly to trill line, is it possible to create a line that consists of any chosen symbol from Bravura font?
I need to get this.
I have tried to utilize gliss and lines, but it is to complex and very unstable. So I guess a larger shape/trill symbol could help.

The "sawtooth" line in your score is possible in version 3 if that's what your referring to.
If you want another symbol in the line then it's possible to enter the symbol from the symbols palette. Ottava's use this so I'll explain how an ottava was made. Find the symbol you want in the text line in the master palette. If you have an idea of the name of the symbol you can start typing its name and only symbols with the letters you type will be displayed. So if you type "ott" you will see an ottava. Hover your mouse over the symbol and the name of the symbol will appear in a yellow box. Remember this name. Next apply the line that has VII--------| in it's display. Right click the line and select line properties. Delete VII and type
<sym>name</sym>
where name is the name of the symbol you saw when you hovered your mouse above it. For an ottava, name is replaced with the word "Ottava." When you click OK, the symbol will be in the text portion of the line.In reply to The "sawtooth" line in your… by mike320
Thank you. Once back in my studio, I will test it.

Ok, I am unable to do this. I need the zig-zag line between headless notes. How to do it?

In my original reply I indicated I wasn't sure if you were trying to change the line itself or the text on the line because your picture has so many possibilities in it. You can make a wavy line using a glissando, which is found in the advanced palettes. Click the word basic under the palettes to change palettes. If you do not want the glissando effect, you can turn off playback in the inspector.. You can select each note head and press v to make it invisible. v will toggle the visibility of almost anything.

Yes, I have tried to do it. Have you? It is very, very hard to keep it stable. I am thinking to omit these lines in MuseScore and to add them finally in Inkscape.

Or with Image capture https://musescore.org/en/handbook/image-capture

They are very buggy, especially when they cross to another system or page. If you need to adjust them you can double click the line, select one of the end grab boxes and use shift+arrows to move the ends to different notes if it helps any. I would never use any other method to adjust a glissando. If the line must cross to another system, it is best to attach the end to an invisible note in an unused voice at the end of one system then at the beginning of another system. You can move the invisible notes in the inspector and remove the play check. I've never used Inkscape so I don't know which method will be easier.
