Midi files are not good for transferring scores of any type. I believe that drums are the worst, and I'm not sure if it's a MuseScore problem or problems with other midi file makers. I suggest that you read https://musescore.org/en/handbook/midi-import because there are a lot of things you can do to make the import better but almost never perfect. Some of the options are off the right side of the display, so you will have to scroll to see them.
The bottom line, is this: If you use midi to transfer scores, you are going to have to fix the file for it to look right unless it is a very simple song.
