When I add a tempo change for a ritardando, the tempo goes to 80 and not desired tempo
Im adding a ritardando using tempo changes and im trying to do it 1 change per beat so i can go from 180 to 62, but I change the tempo marking to 141, going down from 162, but the playback plays at 80. how can i fix this?

Post a screenshot with the tempo change selected and the inspector visible.
Or delete that tempo marking, select the beat, type alt+T, click the new tempo marking, look at the inspector, uncheck the 'follow text' and manually enter in 141.
check 'Follow text' https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tempo#edit-tempo
Better yet, attach the score and tells us which measures don't work right. Pictures rarely help with playback issues.

@mike320... LOL!
I'll choose door #3... 😂
Don't bother doing this manually if the change you want is linear. Refer to this excellent ( ;-) ) plugin instead: https://musescore.org/project/tempochanges

Unfortunately it seems that this does not run with Musescore 3 anymore. :-(

Correct. Plug-in framework is broken in MS3, but coming soon. Specific plug-ins will also need to be updated, most likely.

It does now
