Requesting "slide guitar" sound
If you don't yet have a "slide guitar" sound, please add one. The closest I found was Steel guitar.
Or if there is a closer match already in MuseScore, please show me where.

There is no such instrument defined by General MIDI, and that's the standard normally used by MuseScore and the soundfonts it uses. However, you are welcome to search around to see if you can find a non-GM soundfont that includes slide guitar. You could then install it for use as described in Soundfont in the Handbook. You'll probably also need to customize instruments.xml to tell MuseScore about the soundfont, since by default it will only work for GM soundfonts.
What you're requesting is beyond the capabilites of the MuseScore internal MIDI engine at the moment.
I'm presuming that you mean the actual sound of the strings sliding here.
This is achieved either with the Portamento Controller or the Pitch Wheel Controller, neither of which are yet active in MuseScore.
Hopefully as we get a better MIDI engine things like this will become possible, but please be patient :)
