MuseScore 3 Release Candidate Will Not Open

My computer will not open the release candidate of MS3, and it also had trouble with the beta trying to open. When I click the application to open, the "MuseScore 3" dialog box opens, closes, and the app does not open. The application is not seen in the task manager. Windows Defender gives no warning, and does not flag the application.
My computer specs (as needed):
Alienware 17 R3
Windows 10 Pro
Intel i7-6700HQ
