Space notes evenly across a measure
Is there a way to space notes 'evenly' across a measure -- visually? For example, if I have a bar with with six instruments and tuplets of 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, with accidentals, the placement of the notes is dependent upon where notes are in other parts, as in traditional scores. I thought I read a command that would allow each part to have its own [equal] spacing.
Comments
There is no command for this in version 2 or 3.

Thank you. Please look at Trumpet 1 in m 3-5.
Also:
When I close the file, I get a system message saying that MuseScore unexpectedly quit.

The unexpected quitting of the program should be fixed in #281867: "MuseScore quit unexpectedly" when closing MuseScore 3.0.[1-5] on macOS with a MIDI device.
As for looking at any instrument, I would need a score. Is this where you want the notes spaced the same?

Thank you.
I dragged and dropped the score. I guess it didn't attach. NEW Preludietto_and_Toccatino.mscz

I'm guessing what you really want is a more reasonable spacing within a n-let rather than having the notes look like a snaggle-tooth. You can select beams and check "Local relayout" in the inspector and I think you will like what you see.

Yes!! That's it. I was quite sure I had read this somewhere but couldn't find the 'musescore' word that was used. A possible addition to the documentation could be a thesaurus. The Table of Contents with v.3 is a good start, but I need to figure out that a hairpin is a line rather than a dynamic, or beat spacing is layout.
Again Mike. many thanks for your guidance through these matters.

Your welcome. I'm always happy to help. There is a glossary, but hairpin is missing from it. Hairpins are referenced in both dynamics and lines with links to them. The term local relayout seems to be concise to me, there are probably 100 ideas out there of what to call it.

Works wonderfully
I couldn't find how to do this with other note values -- notes without beams, eg quarter note quintuplets. Is it possible?
In reply to Works wonderfully I couldn't… by kevin.austin@v…
It's not easy. You kind of have to force it, then it still won't be perfect. Use an unused voice, like voice 4 and fill it with the shortest rest for the note you'll be using. You can then make the voice invisible by selecting everything in it and pressing V. The imperfection will be seen when you enter an accidental and an unavoidable space will be added. Other things like time and key signatures will affect this also.
