sfz vs sf2 fonts

I spent a couple of hours converting a wav to sfz in sforzando and then editing the text and setting up the folders to load in Msc. No luck! Just error messages and then back to notepad. I also noticed the worst decline in audio quality that I have ever encountered. (This could be because it needed additional codes to get it to sound better) It was a great learning experience but fruitless so far.

So, I dropped the same wav file into Polyphone and 5 minutes later I loaded it into Msc. with much better audio quality. Incredible.
