Accent Placement (non-shortcut) issues
I came across more auto-placement issues with accents.
I have attached 3 pictures, one from writing within the MuseScore Drumline extension and two from writing for solo piano.
Picture 3: Upon turning off Auto Placement for accents (and I assume Articulations in general would mostly have a similar result), the accents now collide with the staff.
The Auto-Placement feature needs some tweaking.

It's true that if your notes are very close together, accents will tend to collide, and then autoplace does its job and creates the staggered pattern you are seeing. So, the recommended solution is to add a little stretch to these measures so the accents don't collide.
