Are you referring to the MDL extension? Other than that, there is no new snare drum soundfont, just the general soundfont used for all instruments, and I don't hear any changes there in any of the instruments or sounds I tried. Can you attach your specific score, and let us know which soundfont specifically you are referring to (eg, what do you see in View / Synthesizer, on the Fluid and Zerberus tabs)?
