Adding accidentals to a trill line
I was about to ask how on earth one gets an accidental to be added to a trill line: no matter how many times I select the line and double click on the accidental in the accidentals pallet nothing happens. As far as I can tell this is the correct technique. But.. if I leave things for 30 seconds the accidental appears. Why the delay in appearing? This is driving me nuts.

The accidental shows up when a layout is forced. My best guess is that autosave is causing the redraw. You can force a redraw by changing almost anything else. I usually click a rest and press the up arrow then the down arrow since it never changes anything I don't want changed.
having double clicked on the accidental, if i then toggle visible off then on a couple of time from inspector the accidental appears.

No wonder it's driving me nuts. OK, I'll try to remember the forced redraw trick. Thanks!
